The Australian Psychological Society provides an annual suggested fee schedule. The current suggested fee for the 2026-2027 financial year is $330 for a 50min+ session.
To assist in improving access to therapy, a 2 tiered system is used to determine fees:
Standard Fee - $310
Full Fee - $330 - applied to third party account holders, such as insurance companies.
Please note: Medicare rebates or Private Health Insurance may assist in reducing the out of pocket fee, however these do not cover the full session fee. Payments are required on the day of service.
