A warm, thoughtful approach to care
Yasmin creates a calm, non-judgemental space where you can be yourself, make sense of what you’re experiencing and work towards meaningful change.
Your care is personalised to your individual needs, goals and circumstances. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, Yasmin works with you to understand what is happening and determine what is most likely to help.
Conditions Yasmin works with
Clinical Psychologists receive extensive university and clinical training to work with a wide range of mental health conditions. Yasmin has particular experience and interest in working with people experiencing:
- Depression and burnout
- Anxiety and phobias
- Trauma and the psychological effects of difficult life experiences
- Relationship difficulties
- Personality disorders
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Difficulties managing chronic health conditions, including ME/CFS, migraine and chronic pain
- Neurodivergence, including Autism and ADHD
Therapeutic approach
Yasmin’s approach is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed psychological therapies. She draws from a range of therapeutic approaches and tailors treatment to the individual, rather than relying on a single therapeutic model.
Approaches she utilises include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Imagery Rescripting, Mindfulness, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mind-body approaches.
This allows therapy to be responsive to your individual needs, goals and circumstances.
Yasmin aims to promote a safe and inclusive therapeutic environment for all and has experience working with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, across the lifespan, and LGBT+ individuals.
